Centering Asexuality

I read Being Ace: An Anthology of Queer, Trans, Femme and Disabled Stories of Asexual Love and Connection edited by Madeline Dyer this month. As the title indicates, it is a series of short stories where both the writer and main character are asexual. I loved challenging my allosexual lens and seeing stories end, not in romance, but in deep friendship. I hope we will have more media that normalizes those that fall under the asexual umbrella.
